Q.
Would you like to represent our company, we supply flowers/pet food/jewellery/personal
finance/abattoir machinery?
A. No, I’m sorry, we work exclusively within the IT area, if you provide a product or service that an ISP, Webdesign company or IT Manager might use, we will be pleased to talk to you.
Q. How do you charge for your services?
A. We base our fees on either a percentage of sales made, or, in the case of pure support, we will negotiate a fixed fee per month.
Q. Who owns the client/customer?
A. You, the Principal owns the client/customer, this ensures that you will gain a permanent client/customer base.
Q.
Why should I employ a sales agent?
A.
This is a big question, and should probably
be on a separate page but;
Predictable Sales
Costs That Go Up And Down With Sales — both agree in advance on
a rate of commission and we pay all selling expenses.
Increased Sales —
The average salesperson is in a territory for two years or less
before he or she is promoted, transferred or defects to a competitor
for more money. We have a lifetime commitment to our territory,
thus holding better relationships with the customers.
Immediate Access
To Your Market — We are already in the territory. We are familiar
with the area and have a large database of good prospects ready
to consider your products.
Free consulting services
— We have 15 years of successful sales experience, and can help
with sales strategy.
Training Costs And
Sales Staff Turnover; Gone! — we only have to learn your company’s
products, culture and systems, and we may not even need product
training.
Highly Experienced,
More Aggressive Sales Force — Since there is no base salary to rely
on, we must sell to live.
Broader Sales Context
For Your Product — Because we sell several compatible items, we
call on a wider variety of prospects and customers, often finding
applications for products denied the single-line salesperson. The
easiest person to sell something to is the customer who is already
buying from the salesperson!
Creates A Systems
Approach To Selling — Most customers today will agree to see and
buy from only those salespeople who take problems off their desks
and bring opportunities to their attention. The multi-line, complementary
package of products makes us systems oriented rather than single
product oriented. Clients welcome these consultative sellers.
Every Call Is A Relationship
Call For Your Company — Even when we don’t present your product,
we are cementing the customer relationship which will benefit your
company in the future.
Better Market Intelligence
— Since we carry a mix of products, we have a greater diversity
of customers, and often get wind of industry trends long before
an company-employed salesperson.
Your Partner In Your
Success — Since, as we mentioned before, an agency must sell to
live, we are interdependent with your firm. Your success is our
success.
